FT4 frequencies for every band
FT4 dial frequencies from 80 m to 2 m, as WSJT-X ships them. Several are still marked provisional in the source, and there is no default on 160 m or 70 cm.
FT4
Dial frequencies| Band | Frequency | Regions | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| 80m | 3.568 MHz | Region 3 | Provisional |
| 80m | 3.575 MHz | All | Provisional |
| 60m | 5.357 MHz | All | Provisional; same dial as FT8 |
| 40m | 7.0475 MHz | All | Provisional |
| 30m | 10.140 MHz | All | Provisional |
| 20m | 14.080 MHz | All | Provisional |
| 17m | 18.104 MHz | All | Provisional |
| 15m | 21.140 MHz | All | |
| 12m | 24.919 MHz | All | Provisional |
| 10m | 28.180 MHz | All | |
| 6m | 50.318 MHz | All | Provisional |
| 2m | 144.170 MHz | All |
WSJT-X ships no FT4 default for 160m or 70cm. Several entries are still marked "provisional" in the source.

FT4 was built for contests: periods of 7.5 seconds instead of 15, a contact in about half the time, at the price of a few decibels of sensitivity. Its dial frequencies sit apart from FT8 so the two modes do not overlap, and RTTY contests are where FT4 often fills a band.
On 17 m and 6 m the FT4 dial is shared with the JS8Call default, so expect both on the waterfall. Where the source still calls a frequency provisional, the table says so: activity may drift a few kilohertz, and a quick look at the waterfall settles it.
The FT4 table has 12 entries, on 80 m, 60 m, 40 m, 30 m, 20 m, 17 m, 15 m, 12 m, 10 m, 6 m, and 2 m.
No entry for 160 m: the source gives none there.
1 of the entries hold only in some ITU regions, as the regions column shows.
Dial frequencies are the USB suppressed-carrier setting of the radio; the signals sit a few hundred hertz to about 3 kHz above. Band plans and national rules prevail.
